Before you start
You'll need:
- Admin access to your HubSpot account (to export data)
- A Muntri account (sign up free if you haven't already)
- About 30 minutes of hands-on time (AI handles the rest)
Step 1: Export your data from HubSpot ~10 min
Contacts
- Go to Contacts > Contacts in HubSpot
- Click Actions > Export view (top right)
- Choose CSV format and select all properties, or pick the ones you need
- HubSpot will email you a download link
Companies
- Go to Contacts > Companies
- Same process: Actions > Export view > CSV
Deals
- Go to Sales > Deals
- Actions > Export view > CSV
- Make sure deal stages, amounts, and close dates are included
Tip: If you have custom properties, include them in the export. Muntri's AI will attempt to map them to matching fields or create custom fields.
Step 2: Import into Muntri ~5 min
Upload your CSVs
- Log into your Muntri workspace at
yourcompany.muntri.com - Go to Imports from the sidebar
- Click Import CSV and upload your contacts file
- Muntri's AI will analyze the columns and suggest field mappings
- Review the mappings (most will be correct automatically) and confirm
- Repeat for companies and deals

Step 3: Verify and clean up ~10 min
After import:
- Check duplicate detection. Muntri flags potential duplicates by email and company name. Review and merge in bulk.
- Verify pipeline stages. If your HubSpot stages don't match Muntri's defaults, rename them in Settings > Pipeline Stages.
- Spot-check 10 records. Open a few contacts and deals to confirm data came through correctly.
- Set up your team. Invite users from Admin > Users. They get access immediately.
Step 4: Let AI agents start working Ongoing
Once your data is in:
- AI lead scoring runs automatically on imported leads
- Pipeline health analysis scores every deal based on activity, engagement, and stage timing
- SDR agents can start researching and drafting outreach for your pipeline
- Set your autonomy level: manual, co-pilot, or autonomous per feature
